[NEWS] 2011.01.31 ‘Dream High’ to hold a special mini-concert episode with viewers
The cast of popular youth drama, ‘Dream High‘, will hold a special mini-concert with their viewers!
The mini-concert is actually part of the recording for a special episode, which will take place on February 24th at Goyang Aram Nuri theatre. Fans can expect to see Park Jin Young, Kang Oh Hyuk, Bae Suzy, Kim Soo Hyun, Ok Taecyeon, Ham Eun Jung, Jang Wooyoung, and IU at the event.
The actors/singers will perform the many songs from the drama, including “Winter Child“, “Someone’s Dream“, and “Dream High“. This event will also deliver behind-the-scenes cuts, which were never shown to the viewers.

[2011.01.30] IU & Kim Tae Woo get together for a duet collaboration!
As a warm-up practice before their recording, IU taught him her trademark ‘three-level-high notes.’ Kim Tae Woo insisted that he needed to warm-up his body before attempting them, and began doing sit-ups on the spot, parodying the famous ’sit-up scene’ from “Secret Garden.”
The studio burst into laughter when Kim Tae Woo quoted ‘Juwon’s infamous line: “IU-ssi, since when were you so pretty?”
Bolstered by the good atmosphere, the two were able to successfully complete their duet song. They wrapped up their recording with Kim Tae Woo presenting IU with a large teddy bear, and IU promising to fulfill a ’secret mission’ on SBS’s “Inkigayo” for him.
The special will air on February 2nd, and the duet will be premiered through a teaser prior to its official release.

[Spoiler: Dream High] 2011.01.30 Who got to debut in group ‘K’?
KBS 2TV’s “Dream High” will finally debut their much-awaited idol group on this week’s episode!
Week by week, the drama has been climbing in viewer ratings thanks to their growing fanbase. This week’s episode will be focusing on the drama’s second pivotal plot point – the debut showcase of group ‘K,’ which is comprised of members ‘Jin Guk,’ ‘Baek Hee,’ ‘Jason,’ ‘Lia,’ ‘Sohyun,’ and ‘Taesan.’
‘K’ makes an impressive debut with their title track, ‘with K‘, which virtually dominated every major music chart. Indeed, the group became so popular that the individual members have each garnered a formidable fanbase as well.
Ever since the spoiler’s release, viewers have been especially curious over how ‘Jin Guk’ managed to debut, since he’s just a student in ‘entrance class.’ Much attention is also being put on his other ‘entrance class’ friends, and what will be happening to them since they did not make the cut to debut.
